Apparently the guy was chuffed at all bike riders cause one rider had supposedly run his mama off the road. But what a complete idiot cutting blind corners all to stop a bike passing you. Imagine any vehicle coming the other way be it car or bike would have ended up very messy. Only thing I could think that the rider behind could have done in hindsight is pull over and just let the idiot get ahead in the hope he would stop cutting the bends when he realised the bike was not behind him anymore.

I hope the idiot went to jail.  Today I had some a**hole in a 3/4 truck riding about 5 foot (seemed like 1 foot) off my tail light at speeds of 60 mph.  Really scary.  A LEO on a HD passed us going the opposite direction, did a u-turn and stopped him.  I turned around and stopped as well, but the LEO told me he would take care of it and waved me on.  Probably thought I was going to start something.  Probably a good idea he sent me on my way because I was pissed.  Fortunately my experience was not near as bad as the guy in the video.

Trying to run somebody off the road with your car is the same as shooting at somebody with a gun - you might miss but the consequences would be the same if you hit them.

I gotta say the idiot tried to pass on a blind double yellow line though.  His bad for that, but the idiot in the trucks bad for keeping it going and driving like a complete moron with total lack of respect for anybody but himself.  Could have killed multiple people and hopefully they will both get cited.  One for passing on a double yellow, and the other for attempted manslaughter.

I'd call that a safe pass. Illegal, but safe.

So that justifies murder?  He should lose his life because some jackass on a back country road takes offense to him passing him? 


Apparently, there are rumous floating around that the driver was charged with attempted murder (not manslaughter, mans rea was involved here).  I posted a request for an update to the case to the dude that posted the video, lets see what he says. 

I don't think he was actually arrested and charged.

I don't think I think the same way some of you do on this.  Yeah, the kid driving the truck is an arse who tried to take-out the bike who was passing him.  I don't dispute that, but as far as I could tell everyone in this video was breaking the law with speed, crossing lines, or both, so if I were in involved in it I wouldn't want to attract attention to it.

True but I know I am guilty of crossing double whites on back country roads to get around slower vehicles. Nobody was in the right in this video but the utility driver was the worst of them.
