" and what is the logical thing to so, raise it to 3200 and just say "show winner" I tell ya man, crack ... it does seriously terrible things.

Now I know how to make my bike worth more, chop it and make it ugly!  :cookoo:
V&H pipes, K&N drop-in, seat by KnoPlace.com, 17/39 sprockets, matching grips, fenderectomy, short signals, new mirrors - 10 scariest words: "I'm here from the government and I'm here to help!"

One thing I have to say about the whole "riding it 462 miles" part - ok so in 462 miles you hated it so much you had to cut its frame and weld on a hardtail huh ... OK so in those 462 miles did you ever think ... Man this bike would be so much cooler if only I felt every ripple in the road and every pebble in the road affected its handling by upsetting the chassis. Man that would make this POS jap crap awesome.
OK so if that was the case, why didn't you sell the POS as is and buy a wrecked one for 1000 bucks.
Oh yea, that 462 miles, its still 462 miles more than the fools around here ride before cutting and hardtailing their POS.
Cool.

I think it's just a severe case of adult Attention Deficit Disorder. Like a kid with an old tape recorder and a screwdriver... it just has to come completely apart. It never has to go back together again.

Is it just me or does the chick look pregnant?

'88 Savage for only $3900. I think KBB is something like $1200? That's a lot of value add for flat black paint, fork bag, and ridiculous exhaust:

"It is titled as a 2008 Yamaha V Star, but the only thing left on it is the motor and drive line... I have the title in hand"

Title to what? A box of parts?

Only thing left ON the bike is the engine and driveline - but - I also have a completely new frame I added it to so... wha...? Think I need more crack. 'scuse me while I go find another bike to Steel then Chop and make out it's a project.

"Carbs have just been fully rebuilt...There is a small leak coming from #4 carb."

"THIS BIKE IS CURRENTLY IN PIECES. This bike has been hand built and moched up, it was torn down to finish and I lost interest in the project. It requires very little to be finished." (a box of junk parts that may or may not create something that looks like a bike. If it was so easy, why not complete it Duh!)

Man. I never knew there were so many people living in motorcycle la la land. What's the deal, turning a bike into a bobber transforms you into a tard, or tards have a penchant for turning everyday normal bikes into ugly heaps a bobber crap and then asking top dollar for them?

"Estimated at over $2500 by professional shop.Bike is 98 percent complete, needs very little to ride."

"runs great.... May need a light Carb Cleaning"

Which is it? It either runs great in which case it needs nothing - or - it does not run great in which case it MAY need carb cleaning. My interpretation is, it does Not run great, seller knows it's a dog or genuiinly thinks it's just carbs (I think the former and just saying the later to get a sale).

These ads are very entertaining. keep 'em coming.

Wants 2 grand for an old Yamaha, doesn't even have the fairings. Blue book says $1300 with fairings in perfect condition, which I'm guessing this is not.

And this thread is making me laugh so hard my chemical burns on my face are hurting like a sonofabiuttch.

A nice stock savage is worth 1400 bones, and worth every $. Any of these ratty ass mods are worth less.
I made a chopper that had a 9 degree rake. It was also bobbed, but was unique in the sense, it looks like a factory bike and was reversible in 30 mins. The FE was pretty cool too. KX500 FE with custom triples wiht the rake in em. The bike would have sold @ 2300, but that guy after checking it etc on saturday said he'll call me wednesday, and funny thing ... he did, sadly I had got rear ended on monday. I decided on selling it to him when the dust settled with only a salvage title and no real damage for 1300 ... cool cos insurance paid me 2500. Booya ... He even waited a month to pick it up.

I can't make it out on my phone, but are those the original dual shocks just moved to the center of the swinger? May as well hang a sign on it that says "death trap".

Also, I've never seen a custom frame go for $3200. Well, maybe an Arlen Ness' frame.......
