Then maybe research some local prices on GS500s like searching craigslist or any local classifieds.

after that, its all about the condition of your bike.

but im still new to the scene so im not one to give anymore advice then that

Blue book says $1755. I'd offer you $1600. Depending on equipment and condition you may be able to get more or less. +1 to checking local ads.
