just take the 2 wires and shove them together, and tape/zip tie them so they dont come apart

I did a quick fix by putting a piece of plastic in the switch so it has the connection all the time. But I am keeping the bike to pass on to my wife when I get my next bike and I want her to have all the safety switches working when she is ready to ride.  $20 from the dealership just seems steep for such a tiny part.
