I'm actually about 18 magazines behind in my bathroom collection. Obviously I don't spend enough time in there haha. It would take me about 2 years to catch up if I was to stop getting them, but they still show up once or twice a month haha.

i dont have any subs until this one. i read mainly online. anyhoo im still a bike fan at heart and the price was right so why not. normailly i have my watchmakers catalogs to peruse through. even tho i have most of my tools already. i got to thinking. i have my cutting wheels from my polisher. one is impregnated with diamond dyust i could sell those. the onter one prolly has a half ounce of gold dust in it. relevance you ask? well i keep catalogs around cause i can find things in there. hten look them up online.

I don't ever pay for normal subscriptions, but I see magazines selling year long subscriptions for $7 on occasion so I'll grab it. For a while I was getting Super Streetbike, Sportrider, and Cycleworld, all of which were only a couple dollars for the year. They piled up quick.

I've never bought one from someone who sells subscriptions, but you can usually find some pretty good coupons right inside the magazines

The Buddha

Yamahon, Mary: Guys that magazine stuff is media mail - dirt freaking cheap via usps media mail.

Actually I once bought a box full of Reel tapes, The seller had listed it as a 35lb box and was listing the auction with a $30 shipping cost cos it wont fit in 1 flat rate box, needed 2 ... I got the thing for like $7-8 and then told him to try it as media mail. Cost $8 or so, and I had like 50 reels for 15 bones. It had some great recordings too, crosby stills nash and young 4 way street, and Issac Hayes Hot buttered soul among them.

Cool.

I've been getting free motorcycle magazines for 25 years.  As long as you don't mind waiting for people to get done with them then pass them onto you, knowing you ride, it's great.  Once you're many months behind the cutting edge it's no problem at all.  Since I ride a GS you all know I don't give a damn what's new and hot.  (unless it's direct injection two-strokes!)  I like to keep up with what's happening, even if I'm 6 months to 2 years behind!
V&H pipes, K&N drop-in, seat by KnoPlace.com, 17/39 sprockets, matching grips, fenderectomy, short signals, new mirrors - 10 scariest words: "I'm here from the government and I'm here to help!"
