Addy,

You picked a failed challenge? But add one small twist, must have helmet, gloves and boots on, to make it Different. What? You want to stall the game on purpose or wait until no-one else gets it so You will get it.

Surely you can come up with something else, eh?

It is different:
1. You must be ON your bike - not next to it
2. You must have on your gear - not flip flops

It may be somewhat similar, but not the same.  Go down the list - there are lots of similar challenges.

Hey - its summer. How hard can it be to throw on your swim suit and sit on your bike with your helmet, gloves and boots? Its SUMMER - remember ( at least for MOST of the world. So you're in YOUR winter. Boo hoo! as I have been told in this game: that's life.)

You never complained when I did "non-domestic animal" and there was a prior challenge of "animal". Then there was animal shelter and business with animal in the name. Similar? Different?  There was "fire truck or ambulance" and "fire truck with firemen? Same - with a slight twist. Right? There are LOTS of similar challenges. "Similar" is NOT the same as "the same".

"In front of a church" was done TWICE!

How similar or different are these challenges?
 - next to a mail/post box
 - bank/group/cluster of mailboxes
 - drive-up mailbox with a "funnel"

And Hey - you' don't play fair. Go down the list: see how many times YOU did YOUR OWN challenge! You do NOT do your own challenge - someone else should do it.

Look at this snippet:
 .....
dive shop or w/ scuba gear -- adidasguy
 pot hole -- mister
 skid mark -- mister
 tinsel -- mister
 locksmith -- Paulcet
 .....

You said "wait until no-one else gets it so You will get it." - Hey buddy, I NEVER EVER do my own challenge. That is not playing fair with the others. If that was the proper way to play the game, I'd fill up this thing with 100 challenges and photos in a day.

I mentioned the failed challenge so those looking up prior challenges would know I already checked it and have a different challenge.

If you want to get your panties all twisted up then do it in your underwear - oh, right, I did that one - because someone posted that challenge after everyone got bent out of shape about war memorials. Then YOU go do a dead end sign and start a new challenge. I knew I never should have gotten back into this game 'cause some of you take things just too seriously for a game.

Question, and maybe I should look a hundred pages back for the answer but, I noticed a couple of posts where the challenge was completed not on a gs.  So it's okay to complete challenges on other bikes?  If so, mannn I've been missing out all this time cause my GS is in project state.  Someone clear me up so I can play too, if I can use my other bike.

Yep - go for the dead end sign. I pulled my winning entry and dropped out.

Right - and I used to love it. That is until MISTER starts going off on me and accusing me of "stall the game on purpose or wait until no-one else gets it so You will get it"

mister

Um... yeah I got my own EASY challenges cause noone else had gotten them AFTER the allotted time even after prompting. I was even telling people how to get the tinsel one and there was just excuses WHY it couldn't be gotten. Come one now, don't leave out such important info when trying to prove a point against me.  :nono:  ;)

Swim suit with flipflops - FAIL
Swim suit with riding gear

Leave it as essentially the same challenge so someone can get them both in one hit - just swap the gear for flipflops and they'll do two in one. This way we have one less fail on the list.  :thumb: Besides, we don't all have abs like Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen to show off.  ;)

I know you'll be willing to get it, cause you already did the underwear one like you said. Underwear / swimwear, not much difference to me, which is why I mentioned it.  :dunno_black:

I didn't get a dead end sign. And it wasn't my challenge. You've lost me there. But the game has rules. All games do. Foootball, baseballl, basketball. It's Cooperative Competition - we agree to compete by staying within the rules. If a war memorial has been done it has been done, don't blame me for that, sheesh, and don't blame me for the only one to ever point out duplicates either. Swimsuit was a fail before, changing flipflops for gear doesn't mean it'll suddenly not be a fail. I just didn't see how it was different enough a challenge.

As far as I'm concerned, you got the deadend and posted the swimsuit with helmet, gloves and boots and unless you change it, it stands.

QuoteMISTER starts going off on me and accusing me...

@Addy. Unfortunately, much is lost in textual communication. Tone, syllable intonation, facial expression while expressing, etc. It was NOT my intention to upset you in any way. And what I wrote was not done so with any malice intended. A lack of any emoticons to represent such makes it worse. I apologize.

Now stop being a sooky lala. Grab yourself a nice cup of Horlics, take a breather and count to ten, then come back in.

OK. I'm back.

Next: Its summer, so you or someone on your bike in swim trunks or bathing suit. One condition: RIDE SAFE! So must have on your helmet, boots and gloves.

PS: try to respect others. Please avoid overhanging bellies so we can't see the swim trunks. Wear clothing of the appropriate size.

PS. PS: We did have this, but it failed and is not the same as it wanted flip flips. I believe in always having on proper gear

I good for at least another 6 in & out's this year. Maybe more if I work hard at it. Its a sub-game beneath the main picture game.

I'm going to try and get Twism's challenge this afternoon if noone beats me to it.

If this counts, then next challenge would be in front of a TOOL TRUCK.  Any of the BIG names would work, Snap On, Cornwell, Matco, Mac, or an independent would be okay too!  Extra bragging rights if you can get the dealer to wave.  haha  Thanks for letting me play even though my GS is still in project state!

They make their own, so it counts.

Hmmm I see those trucks around from time to time, now I just gotta hope I have my bike with me next time.
