He'll get charged, get a reduction, and spend less then a year in jail, while the familys of the deceased and the wounded pay funeral and medical bills and mourn for much more then a year.

I hope not, I considered him a friend but still think he should be in jail for a looooong time. Hes only 51, so he doesnt even need life to never get out. If he does get out, and I ever end up stream side fishing with some mutual friends, it will be hard not to sock him in the face and push him in 

Stories like this make me want to never ride a motorcycle (on the street) ever again. I heard about this, and decided not to ride today. Just shows you that no matter how safe you are being, it doesnt even matter 

Sad thing is, I feel like I'll be surprised if he even ends up with a careless driving ticket

Edit: just notice it says he's an ex cop, I'll be REALLY surprised if he gets a ticket.

oye. then again if he ends up with an extended stay at the greybar hotel, they DSILIKE cops inside WITH them. even EX.
