Just thought i'd share this because in my boredom I've found a computer in the hospital.

Been hanging out with a gnarly open distal fracture to my right middle finger. The fingertip bone is in 3 or 4 pieces, requiring wire pins, plus the nail bed will be getting plastic surgery so the nail to be removed can grow back properly. Believe me, its not pretty! My darling GS has seen better days as well... This is from a small slide at around 20kp/h at a roundabout. Without a doubt i should buy a lotto ticket with this kind of luck, as it could have been much worse.

But regardless, a valuable lesson learned about patience and care in the wet, and I have plenty of time to think about it.

That's unfortunate, hope you heal quickly. Were you wearing gloves?
