I bought them from Ebay...  They also come in 4 parts, but the nice thing about these particular ones is that the lines are broken in a pattern as you can see.  This helps hide the any flaws in the "perfect circle".  Also this particular seller gives you 1 extra "quarter stripe" per side in case you mess up.  (thankfully since I screwed up on each side once :P )

JB Welded the gas tank... Woke up a few weeks ago to all my precious gas on the ground... started leaking out of an incredibly tiny rust pitted area...

Had its 42,000 service today. Running like a champ still. Gotta love these bikes.  :woohoo:

Also picked up the 19 pieces that go into making up the passenger pegs for my 919 - fun times ahead putting it all together.

Was due a service, so i changed:
> Oil
> Oil filter
> Alternator stator (The previous one had the wires torn through by the rotor - oops)
> Clutch cable

Do still need to check and gap the spark plugs though... and check the air filter..

Falcon01

Had a new Battlax rear tire installed and took a 100 mile ride to break it in.

Yesterday I backed my van into my poor GS and knocked it off the stand. Broke the clutch lever and top box, bent the handlebars and dented the tank.

Just went with the cheap superbike bars. 20 bucks + tax and they had them in stock in town.. Went with chrome because of the stories that the black scratches off easily. Didn't realize I had to drill a hole in them tho, that got me a little apprehensive....

Atleast it was just the lever.. I broke my perch a couple weaks ago...
Good thing is an F perch will work on an E.. just have to bypass the clutch switch (which I didn't have hooked up anyway).

Yesterday I fitted the new bars, clutch lever and top box. The dent in the tank can wait, its not as big as the one on the other side that I've lived with since I bought the bike. The old bars were about 1" lower than stock, the new ones are about the same height as stock and maybe a bit wider. I was going to trim them, but decided to try them first. Its surprising how a little difference in the bars changes the way the bike feels, I like that I can now see a lot more behind me in the mirrors and being a little more upright is nicer around town. I'm also able to get my weight back a bit more, which combined with the bar width makes it nicer to ride on dirt roads. I'll have to wait and see how comfortable it is on a longer ride.

this is what i have on my Exodia:

Bar End Mirrors
Motorcycle Alarm (i'm paranoid about this one, all my car have alarm
so i have to have one on her)
Driving Lights on my Turn Signal (for safety, so they could see me Better riding at night)
Reflective Decals (Safety for Night Riding)
Reflective Rim Stipe (Safety for Night Riding, looks cool also  :icon_lol: )

Future:
Cell Phone Holder on the Handle Bar
Yoshimura Exhaust (i already have the Cannister, need to find time to install it)
Underlight (Red Light below Gas Tank was already installed and working, but still waiting for the rest of the LED Underlight kits)
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come..."

Washed both bikes. The 919 had loads of bugs from mountain riding. The GS was covered in dust - what you get for parking in a dirt machinery yard.

Installed a full wave rectifer and upgraded everything to LEDs (using wled-5x UV for the gauge cluster and 74x colored leds for each indicator... will upgrade with pictures tonight of the console fully lit)

The UV bulbs may not be bright enough for this application and might have to switch back to the red ones :(

Oil and filter change, cleaned and lubed the chain.
I like a non-sequitur as much as the next Giraffe.

Remove KAT chock from Trey. Going to put in OEM shock and the unusual OEM cast knuckle we found on the 1989 frame. Also clean links and clean bolts. Removed knuckle and links will be cleaned and used on the West Seattle bike build. Trey is mine so I wanted him to have this really cool and rare OEM cast aluminum knuckle. Will use this time to clean out the innerds of Trey, too.

Fitted oxford heated grips. Didn't get to use them today on the way to work as I took the cage today (not well, balance is off due to bad flu), was so looking forward to trying them out.
