My HID setup on GS500e

Friend gave me an HID kit he sells to test on my GS.

I'm using it in an SV650 headlight. The direction needs to be adjusted downward a bit. I think it's pointing too high right now.
But overall I think it's great, a lot brighter than stock.
It uses a halogen for high beam, but I think it's unnecessary.

What do you guys think?

bit too high, and the cutoff is not that clear but its there.

Turn it down a bit.

I'd like to retrofit a projector to get a better cutoff... but what can you really do with halogen reflector...

I think he said the kit retails for $65 for a pair, but I'm sure I can haggle with him for gstwin members.

If you don't plan to put a lens in front of the HID light, all you're doing is making it extremely difficult for other drivers to see anything when they're oncoming to you. Proper HID setups take advantage of a lens to focus the beam and a cutoff to eliminate scatter, without it is just careless and dangerous. You can't aim glare down, it doesn't work that way.
