** (edit Sep09) reduced prices on remaining items **
** (edit Aug26) cleaned up post and added new item - mirror extenders **

Hello All,

I am selling some parts for the gs500. Many of the parts are brand new, in box - they were originally purchased as spare inventory for my gs500 (which I have since sold).

Prices are in Canadian dollars. Shipping costs are not included and will be extra. I will charge actual shipping costs from Toronto, Canada. I would be happy to combine multiple items in one box to minimize shipping. Payment is required in advance by PayPal, email debit, or other electronic transfer. Buyer responsible for any duties, brokerage, taxes, etc.

Please feel free to PM with any questions, or to request larger photos.

Parts list (photos below):

  • machined mirror extenders (used, good condition, some paint flaking) - $30
Aluminum with black powdercoat. These move mirrors out a couple of inches, which helps to provide a clear sight line when your shoulders would otherwise partially block the view behind.
  • OEM throttle cable (58300-01D10) (brand new) - $25
Useful to have a spare cable on hand to minimize downtime whenever yours decides to break.

Sorry - Suzi and Junior both need the factory springs replaced. Then we need a 3rd set for the bike build. Can't wait on Junior as he is starting to mark his territory from the right fork so I gotta work on his forks ASAP - its getting to be a greasy mess on his right fork.

Box arrived today. Thank you!
This will keep us busy. Now will have a day rebuilding front forks.

What's left? Looking at the mirror extenders, they are different than the SW-Motec ones. I'd like to put them on Trey and compare them.
What else? Got room in the bike cave for more stuff.

gs500e

I will take the mirrors.  And clutch cable too.  PM sent.

DoH!
How much is shipping to 21060 USA?
I keep forgetting to turn the petcock on before i bolt down gas tank. :(

I crossed out everything that was sold; the items left at the top (#1 - #5) are still available.

The mirror extenders were made by a small-time machine shop named CJ Engineering. They seem to have gone under because their website is no longer available.

do you have the ss lines? Speedo cable perhaps?

hi dsmgs500,

Thanks for looking. Sorry, I do not have the parts you requested - the only parts remaining are the mirror extenders and a throttle cable.
