Took a quick video of my bikes sound, with its custom front pipe too Yoshimura muffler, my iphone doesn't record sound all that awsome, but it gives you an idea of the difference... it has a low tone almost chopper like..

I don't mean to be a total jerk or anything, but why record a sound clip of something on a clearly sub par recording interface? The iPhone totally cut out the lows and if I hadn't heard a few of these pipes before I would've said it sounded like a whiny sewing machine. I'd imagine it actually sounds deeper, like you said, but this video doesn't even come close to doing a pipe justice on a gs500.

at least you took the time to record it and upload. Very few of us have profession recording equipment to use anyway........so we use what we got ;)

nice video and good looking pipe!

Here is a suggestion for you: if you have a digital camera that can record video use that instead. Make sure that you do not position the camera too close to the pipe.

I shot this video with old Canon Powershot.
