Bob Broussard has the fastest no doubt. Probably not as much as the guy with the turbo but his power will last much longer. Go Bob  :thumb:

I'd put my money on the TURBO GS for top speed
that thing cranks out near 100HP with 32 pounds of boost

My GS is FAR from the fastest, but I will have a dyno sheet in the next few weeks - bike is at the shop now waiting for it's turn on the dyno.

Quote from: 96gsWhat are the mods?

Power generating mods are V&H full exhaust, K&N pod, Stage 3 jet kit, ignition advance.

Other mods include '99 GSXR 600 front end, solo tail, CBR rearsets, B4 wheel, Michelin Pilot Sport tires (120 & 160), aftermarket fairing/headlight/signals, short stalks in the rear, no fender, GSXR 750 rear shock.....that's all I can think of.

I don't have any dyno #s. But I just did the first race of the season and was chasing down R1s and GSXRs on the straights :o
I did practice sessions on the race bike and my 89 GS. The 89 has a stock motor with jet kit, pod filters and pipe. Race Tech springs and emulators and 89 gsxr rear wheel with a Fox shock. I ran about 10 seconds a lap quicker on the race bike. So HP does help. I'm guessing somewhere in the 70+ HP range. :dunno:

bob can smoke any GS here, if not the turbo GS on the straight then in the turns for sure  8)

bob, are you planing on doing a dyno run? it would be great to see the #'s it puts out :)

Eventually I'll get it on a Dyno. Right now I'm tearing the engine down to do a thorough inspection. Want to make sure the bearings are holding up. Had a rod bearing go bad before, but I think it was a bad crank that caused it.
Had it balanced and it came back with a questionable mark on the rod journal. Put in a different crank and it worked fine this weekend.
Next race is Sears Point on April 17/18. Maybe after that I'll Dyno it.
