I just got my first GS500, it's a sweet little bike but the stock tail end is hideous!  Any suggestions for a tail tidy that is an easy swap and doesn't break the bank? Thanks

Thanks Paulcet,  it was a bit hard to locate the clear alternatives for my year, most of the links had expired...I searched around online last night.  I've done a tail tidy on my DRZ and it was much different because it was a current body style and there are a lot of different options for lighting.  So I just need to figure out which route I'm going and order!  I really like the integrated look, very clean!

Very nice, and creative!  I'm not sure I'm ready to venture into something as complicated as this!  I'm thinking that I may try to install the stock lighting from my DRZ (headlight and flashers)  and go for the less expensive non-integrated tail light.  I'm a big fan of taking photos of my projects, so I'll def share!  If anyone else has recommendations of other integrated (other than clear alternatives) that are an easy fit for a 2000 GS500, please let me know.  Thanks for the friendly welcome and info, BTW...this is great forum!
