I've had a look on the wiki and it seems that the gs500f only has zero gravity screens. Does anyone else have pics of other brands? To me the zero gravity looks pretty thin compared to the stock screen. I'm actually after a double bubble or touring screen, windblast nearly ripped my head off yesterday.

Keep in mind if you're using stock bars you aren't going to benefit (and might even suffer) from using the double bubble. Stock bars have a more upright posture and the idea behind the double bubble is to get air over your head when you're on a bike with more aggressive bars. The minimum I'd consider using with a double bubble is the supersport bars, and the best would be the clubman variants and clip-ons.

Hmmmm I might go for a touring wind shield after reading that. I really don't want to change my handlebars to sports mainly because I have a bad back.

I've had the Puig Double Bubble on in the past, and it was better than stock as far as wind protection.
Now I'm running the ZG ST and I love it. I havn't noticed any problems with either being too flimsy or anything.

@K8... I must confess  ... I removed the small windshield from my 900 Hornet because I could Not stand the volume of wind being pushed into my helmet and The Noise it made. Even a slow 60kph became too noisy without earplugs. So, no screens at all for me and the wind hits me pretty equally all over.

With an F model I can see how the wind would deflect up onto your helmet and bounce your head around and that would lead to a quest for a larger windscreen.

Some people here have reported good things with a Laminar Lip type thing to delfect the wind higher than stock does.

I almost wish I would have tried one of those. I bet they work great. I like everything except the price.

The ZG (Zero Gravity) ST (Sport Touring) windscreen is great. Sometimes you can get factory seconds on eBay.

Although it's true that the double bubble doesn't direct the air over your head (unless you're really short) it does keep if off your chest and makes riding at highway speeds a lot more comfortable. I don't regret getting one and consider it a real improvement.

I have the Zero gravity sports touring. At first I thought before I bought it that it would look too big on my bike, but once on it looks great. I changed it from the stock windscreen because on the hwy I would begin to bobble head. My handlebars are stock and I ride in the upright position, it still helps to redirect the wind over my head. Go for the sports touring you won't regret it, it works and looks good.

Just ordered one on your recommendation.  I got the dark tint, should look good on a 07 black bike.  I'll post a pic when I get it installed.

I bought a Laminar Lip, and while it doesn't look as cool as some of the others, it works great. 

I decided to stay with stock because the wind blast is hitting me in the chest rather than the helmet. I thought that if I upgraded I just get crazy blast in the head which would be awful.

Sometimes, you posts rub me the wrong way. I too am interested in a touring screen. When I ride the wind makes all of my jackets flap and hits my massive scar and defibrillator on my chest. Some days it is very painful esp. like today when we have 20mph sustained winds on top of it. Guess I should HTFU cause I'm not enough already  . Just getting out of bed many days is more pain than most people endure in a life time. So, if I can prevent some pain I'm going to. I know it is hard to ask this out of such a manly man but why not answer the question rather than put someone down?
