I need a new rear tire for my GS, what are some good options? I have live on a gravel road so something with a durable hard compound rubber would probably be best. I went to the only local place and they only had 2 different options and they were both special order so if I am ordering anyway I figure I should get the best tire I can. :D

First, start with the Search box at the top of the forum. This type of question comes up Real regular. In fact there is a tire thread Currently in progress within the first couple of pages or so.

If those recent threads do not answer your question, then...

What he said^, and I find the standard Bridgestones are not a bad all-round tyre that seem to handle OK in the dirt.
