Okonomiyaki !!!!!!!! I havent eaten sooooooo long time!! I thought many American don't like okonomiyaki!, so I havent had a chance to go to the okonomiyaki place since I dont have Japanese friends here. Yes? No? But I have had a plan to take my friends to okonomiyaki place for a long time! hmmm... yummy!

Soba??!! Ohhh we have a very good soba restaurant in Orange County!! When you come to CA, let me know, I will take ya!  

I love any kinda Japanese food of course. My ex was into Yakiniku restaurant (Japanese BBQ) after I took him. Also, I love Korean food.

Well... I like okonomiyaki without the slices of pork... that stuff tastes like raw, uncured bacon
I like mochi/cheese done Hiroshima style and shrimp done Kansai style.  I'm not too into how the Japanese cook meat (I'm picky).  More of a fish guy when I'm over there.  The place in NYC does it up Kansai style, and also has Takoyaki (octopus balls!  yum!).  Too bad my friend Megumi and I can't seem to be able to cook okonomiyaki right at home  Tonight I was lazy and made soba for myself  *grin* it's not like I can just drive into the city and pick up the stuff!  50 miles away!
BTW, I'll take you up on your offer for soba if I ever make it out to Cali... one bowl of sansai soba please!
