does anyone have a right front fork bottom or right fork for sale?

Helps to know where you are (I wish they would make at least the state a requirement in the profile  )

There might be someone near you that would give you one or you could pick up for a few bucks/dollars/pesos/schillings.

Then, if you're in Antarctica, shipping would be prohibitive. If you're in the UK, then UK members would be a better help than members in Hawaii due to shipping.

Just always helps in any for sale or want-to-buy to know where you are located.

Unusual request for a fork bottom  :o  Usually the top tube is what gets damaged. What happened to the fork bottom, if you don't mind saying  :dunno_black:

thanks for the reply, where I'm at,its in the UK,I've tried the gs UK site but no joy, same with ebay, there is nothing wrong with my forks, but i have this idea that i can get a right hand fork to work on the left,i have a set of adapters to fit gsxr 750 four pot calipers and I'm sure that it would not take rocket science to get the right hand to fit on the left giving a dual disc front, okay i would have to manufacture an adapter bracket to take the fender/mudguard,but after 45 years of building and installing elevators i don't think it would be too much of a hassle, eddyr

Now that we know.....
someone might be able to suggest other forks you can use. Lots of people have done front end swaps. You might browse the forums for front end swaps, check the WIKI or post a question of what forks to use for dual brakes. I haven't done it so I don't know what to suggest.

The axle and fork brace would be an issue. That's why I suggest you look in to different forks (Katana? gsxr?). In fact, the fork brace is extremely important. It doesn't just hold the fender -  so again - look into other forks. An adapter to hold the fender probably wouldn't give the support necessary for good front end control. Lots of us even go to thick aluminum fork braces for added stability. (Just my 2 pence worth of ideas)

FYI: As for what year, any GS500 fork from 1989-2011 is the same except for the added mount for a reflector.
