I've been tweaking the wiki like a mad thing, and just added a missing page reguarding rearsets, among other things.
http://wiki.gstwins.com/index.php?n=Upgrades.Rearsets

In the process of adding references I come across the post by adidasguy
Aww, I'm major jealous now!

But also encouraged. 'cause if I can feel comfy with my feet on the PASSENGER pegs, I can sure feel comfy with the "halfway" position of the Gimbels.
Those, along with the now slightly adjusted position of my handlebars, should work a treat

Now I just have to actually be patient and wait a while until I can grab $400 that isnt saved up for sooo many other waiting things.. sigh...

There are a number of postings showing the Gimbel. There is one which shows the difference between stock, Raask and Gimbel (Photoshopped them on top of each other).
Also lots of photos of Junior with the Gimbel. Trey has Raask.
I probably should do an install video when I install another set. Have an extra Gimbel set that needs to go somewhere.
I should do a tutorial on the 3 different types of OEM factory clip-ons (though some people don't consider them clip-ons. They have clips. They clip on. To me they're clip-ons as stated on the main menu of the gstwins site.) I might be one of the few people with all 3 types sitting on the shelf as spare parts.

Yea - WIKI needs to be updated.
Woodcraft not available.
Tarozzi - they don't fit. I sent them pictures and in the typical Italian attitude, they couldn't see anything wrong. I concluded their GS500E are for the really old GS500E made along with the GS550E through the mid 80's. NOT what we call a GS500E. Wasted $500 there on 2 sets.

Only sets available are Gimbel and Raask.
Only 100% compatible adjustable levers are from LSL and the USA distributor for LSL does not carry any Suzuki levers. They must be ordered from a German distributor. I'm going to Munich for Christmas. I can look into bringing back a half a dozen sets of levers for those that don't mind spending $125 per lever for really cool, machined levers.

Scouring the world for GS500 parts is really a lot of fun. That's why Junior is such a special, one of a kind 1992 GS500.
(God I'm such a parts whore. 4 sets forks, a few sets of never used rims, levers, cables, brakes, whatever, tons of "E" tail plastics ..... what's a guy to do with all that stuff?)

Different shape and attachment points on a redesigned subframe that uses a different seat. And, different colors  :police:
