Nice gourd! :whisper:

This is what we call a Pumpkin in Australia. We don't call things Gourds, Pumpkins and Summer/Winter/XXXX Squash. They are all pumpkins to us, just different varieties. The only thing we generally call a squash is that small yellow thing the size of a plum/peach - Sunburst Squash/pattypan squash. To us a zucchini is a zucchini not a courgette or Italian marrow squash.

A Cantaloupe is known as a Rockmelon down here. Bell Peppers are know to us as Capsicum. What you know as Aubergine we call Eggplant. And what you call a Cherimoya we call a Custard Apple. Such are the idioms of our respective English.

And the people who hit it against a wall into adulthood are just weird in any language.

The Ausies have odd English. We must remember: they are descendants of the occupants of the British prison colonies from colonial times. Its prison slang.  :flipoff:

Americans have no clue about what proper English is. They have resorted to subtitling anything when an English person appears on television.
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

By the way "American" is the proper english,

I'd think the English in England might disagree...

Although....

Seeing as English is, itself, a bastardized language and the Americans bastardize it better than anyone, you could say that the USA is leading the evolution of the language as it originally formed. And who knows, maybe we will all end up speaking Spanglish or Cityspeak

Now go get the musical instrument store...

Next Challange: Your bike dressed up as a construction worker (hard hat, gloves, hi - vis vest, and safety glasses/goggles/faceshield) is a bare minimum
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

pave_spectre

I could do that at work. I have been issued most of that crap. Knowing my luck someone will beat me to it. :D
I like a non-sequitur as much as the next Giraffe.
