Start with the rear cause it's easier. But only if it bothers you or you really want to know.

alright well i just went for a ride and here is the update:

6th gear at 60-65 mph is at 5500 rpms.
70 it said 6500 or so
80 was 7000

saw 3 cops and went back to 55 mph speed limit lol

Mine about that too.  Just checked on ride home.  3000 rpm = 34mph, 4000rpm = 45 mph, 5000 rpm = 56-57, 6000 rpm= 68-69mph, 7000 rpm = 80.

Betting I have a 15 tooth.  I would love to drop the highway rpms, so the next chain and sprocket change should yield a pleasant result if I switch to the 16.

mister

Switching to a 16 tooth front will bring it back to Stock.

Norway, seeing as your rear sprocket is stock size, you'll now need to investigate the front.

uninhibited

With an indicated speed of 110kph, which is actually 102 kph, my tach  around 5500.  Its stock as rock.  When did Suzuki start putting the slow speedo's on the GS?
