but i think it's kind of cool...sounds like a sport harley....so far i didn't red line it, not even close but it it very loud

That happened to a usually quiet toyota camry i had in HS.  I drove it around for about a week like that, damn was that thing loud.  At the time I had a gym class before regular classes started, so I was driving through all these neighborhoods at 6 in the morning, just imagining all the people i was waking up and pi$$ing off.

I drilled some holes in my muffler after reading a DIY muffler mod.  I thought it sounded cool for about a day.  Then it just sounded like a chainsaw, kinda a sharp popping sound.  So I JB welded some bolts back in the holes.  I think the stock pipe is too quiet, but at least it had a nice tone.  Anyway, the V&H and Yosh pipes are too pricey for me, so I guess that only leaves the Cobra pipes which I've heard are crappy.  Maybe I can get a SV650 or some other pipe off a stock biek that someone changed out for cheap.  But I bet it sounds mean with no muffler at all.  Can you get a sound clip to post up???
