Going to be regreasing everything.

Suggestions on some good grease and which to get exactly?

I assume for bearings I get bearing grease of course.

Not sure what else to use exactly where yet tho.
i'll look that up in a sec tho. (what all should be freshly greased up, other then bearings)

The Suzuki GS500 repair manual gives all the different types of grease and lube and where to use each.  Pages 1-3, 1-4, 1-5.   They of course recommend Suzuki brand products.

well, that is until I start putting the bike back together to make sure everything is 100% accurate hahahaha

Wheel bearing grease will work for anything that needs grease. Other greases may do certain jobs a little better, but you're really splitting hairs to tell the difference. I bought a 1 lb tub of wheel bearing grease the first time I needed it to work on a car after getting married. Thirty years later I still have over 3/4 of it.

The brown grease and the red "high temp disk brake" grease are incompatible (I've heard one will eat the other). My guess is you have the brown stuff... use that.

For your suspension and swing arm needle bearings use marine grease, it resists the water getting in and spoiling the bearing and gives your a better service life.

True, marine grease is good for any application on your bike or car, it is extreme pressure and corrosion resistant.

I use martine grease on my firearms. My shotty loves it.

And it is especially good if you are storing firearms for long periods of time in high humidity areas.
