Hey all,
As the title suggests, I'm considering picking up a second bike so I'm looking for a few ideas to get thrown out...

I'm after a bike that is $3000 or less and is basically a step up from the GS. Something with a little more get up and go... in the neighborhood of a GSXR750 or a CBR600, just curious what you guys ideas are so I can start looking around...

Wont find a CBR600 or GSXR for 3k or less unless its a scam or a POS. Next step up would be a Katana if you want a sportbike look or might can find a SV650 for the naked look. Good luck finding anything decent for that price. Maybe also a FZR600 or an F2 or F3 CBR600. Be prepared for scratched scraped and broken plastics and higher miles and know what to look out for.

if you are short....FZR600 they actually handle well
$3k F2/F3's are out there
F2/F3 is one of the most comfy bike i have ever ridden
valve adjustment at 16000 and might as well install a manual cam chain tensioner

Yes manual cam chain tensioner is key on CBR.
