He's looking to trade this deathtrap for something slightly less likely to kill him...

Yeah, those bastards, fancing wanting him to have a roadworthy bike before being allowed to ride it on base. The hide of them. Sound like he better go Occupy their piece of grass beneath the flag pole until he gets he's free ramon noodles.

Ya gotta love it, a 60HP bike with no brakes!
V&H pipes, K&N drop-in, seat by KnoPlace.com, 17/39 sprockets, matching grips, fenderectomy, short signals, new mirrors - 10 scariest words: "I'm here from the government and I'm here to help!"

ghostrider_23

Well somebody is buying other peoples POS bobbers because I see the post have been deleted when I do a search on Craigslist checking for someone that wants to sell for a reasonable price.

Check this out

Ugh, someone used the word "Resurrected" when they should have used "Basket Case." and he said 'The pilot jet may need to be changed since it takes 5 to 10 minutes of ridding before keeping a steady idle."

BUT.... That yellow Yamaha Cafe bike in the background doesn't look too bad.

ryott52

I rather like the bandit too, I guess he's only selling his piles and keeping the good ones.

This eyesore is available for the low low price of $4800. And, it's mostly put together, only needs the wiring, carbs, drive, controls, and a tune-up.

Oh its a xj550 on top of that. POS. One fool I know plonked down 600 on a xj650 with 45K miles, after saying my $750 xs650 with 5K was too much $$$, then he proceeded to without even riding it 10 miles, strip it and plonk down a further 2-3g turning it into a cafe racer. The bike had a ducati tank and a custom made tail etc, looked good actually except for the 4 cyl lump ... and 200 miles later the transmission started junping out of 2nd and 3rd.

Yamaha pre 83 or 84, 4 cyl motors had transmissions that went on em. The xj 550, 650, 750, 900 and 1100's all of em. The 1100's had a 2 storey engine case you can get to the tranny by flipping the bike over and going through the pan and not go through the top.

Apparently you don't have to bob a bike anymore to call it a bobber, you just put ape hangers and aluminum grips on it. Then charge about $2000 more than it's worth.

I like how on the first one they didn't even bother to cut off the back half of the subframe. Real quality work there.

I actually have a buddy who races pocket bikes.. he had a street legal one, They are classified as mopeds "most" of the time... When we're were younger he had two of them that we use to zip around the area with. never went out on any "Main roads" just unlined-dotted/private roads. My area when we we're little all had our fair share of Go-carts Dirtbikes pocket bikes all that fun stuff you like to do when your younger! Until the POS new HOA owner came in and started to make ghey rules.. Now when my motorcycle was running use to sit infront of my friends house [his house is right next door] and REV the shaZam! outta my little GS and piss him off cause he knew he couldn't do ANYTHING. 9:59 PM? Oh time to stop. :D did it every day for like a Week. He hates kids, yet my place has kids playing outside all the time.. feel bad for the new ones sorta. Wish I had my old gokart and donate to one of them. They look so freakin board now days. Funny thing actually is. People say kids don't go outside much.. Yet my area is filled with kids of all ages outside! Can't go a day without working on my bike and one of them walking up to me and having a nice chat about what I'm doing. some people hate kids - I surely don't. Only problem I have now days.. Is if you give a younger kid a coke, your now a pedophile! I also think they like me cause I give out soda... idk no parents complained to me yet. so I keep doing it! ^_^ hey I had people do that for me when I was their ages why should it be any different now!?

Mary I don't even know if you see them in your area of Florida, but I see bicycles with friction engines on them, Cruising down 192.. Now that's freakin funny.

I always wanted one of those.. How are they going up hill?

Reason why I was making fun of them. cause 192.. is kinda a death trap here.
