You wouldn't want a cb360. They are under powered, have their own charging issues, top end oiling issues, frames that flex under pressure, etc.

What would be a good older bike like the style of the CB360 big? Just wondering. there is lots of info on new bikes and what not, But I like old bikes. Only cause when it comes down to it. Those bikes are what MADE what we have today, without them. you wouldn't have your 1250cc fuel injected 4 clynd inline engines.

Like the CB360? Hands down closest is the cb350. Made from 68 to 73, about 325cc's, cheap to buy, cheap to maintain, HUGE aftermarket and original parts support, parts can swap between models of the era, etc, etc. I believe it is the go-to bike for anybody to learn to wrench on.

There are some great inline 4's but they can be expensive and/or complicated. The CB400F made from 75 to 77 is an incredible bike. Want something similar to your GS500? Look at some pre-84 GS450's.

I use a newly friended riding bud's air compressor to blow out Every FREAKING hole in the carbs. And she works again. Still need to get a battery, I've just been using a jumper ^_^ She purrrs likea kitten :) It actually sounds A LOT better than when I bought it! soo.. What to do next.. Replace brake pads/make money for new tires?... Oh How do I long for new tires...

You'll look considerably more silly than doing a kick-start, but you can push start it:

Hahaha. I've done that a couple of mornings when it was really cold and my oil got really thick.
