So to start out, this bike has a 99 engine in it currently and its been running normally for a while. It got knocked over when it was parked and s I had it taken to a bike shop. After they finished doing an estimate and the insurance paid me out (about 2 weeks and a half) I went and got the bike back. It rode fine ( a tech started it and brought it around front) I was able to stop and turn off the bike and get gas and start right back up afterwards. Once I brought the bike home I was gone for a week and a half and it rained quite a bit. Since the bike sat outside (apartment complex), I thought when I tried to start the bike that it was a low battery causing it not to start. Then I tried to push start it and it almost started and then wouldnt even turn over at one point. I left for work on my wife's bike and then later took the battery off to charge. Putting the fully charged battery on, I was unable to get the bike to turn over. It turns out the right cylinder was full of fuel. so I pulled the plugs and turned the bike over to push all the excess fuel out. After putting everything back together it tried to turn over and over, and eventually I was able to get it started. I left the choke on for a bit and it stayed on a warmed up some. I noticed smoke coming from the head of the exhaust and that there was fluid that came out of back of the exhaust. It died shortly after riding around and stopping and then I could not get it to start back up.  Please help!

Its also almost freezing here  right now if that has anything to do with those symptoms

Did you change the oil since it got flooded? Your case may be full of gas.

Call the bike shop and tell them the bike is not working properly and to come and get it and fix it.

If that fails, call the insurance and tell them the mechanic did not fix the bike properly.

or assassinate the mechanic...

People Lie a lot, to much for my taste... If you can't fix something, No need to steal your money. Same thing happened to my mothers car, OH ITS FIXED LOOK! [the car was already running]. She gets home. Next day, tries to start the car, [was doing the same thing it was doing before] calls the mechanic, Mechanic tells her she'll need to bring it in. and that they would have to charge another 75 bucks to look at it again. And that any more "Fixes" she'd have to pay for the repairs.

This is how 80% of the mechanics in my area of Florida are.. They lie. Constantly. so if your a good liar, become a Cop, or mechanic.. There should be laws against things like this, sadly we're to busy making laws so that stores say "Happy holidays" Instead of Marry F%@KING CHRISTMAS! and the reason for this? It was some Muslim that got "offended" GO FIGURE. Srsly they need to hope on a train and head back to where ever they came from, leave Florida tho. Always trying to pass stupid laws... Not even helpful to anyone but themselves. If they are that freaking bored, they can go back to their country's where they can be executed for sneezing.

So I was able to get it to start again today , but it seems to slowly turn over as if it compressing and has to push air out of a small hole in order to complete the rotation of the piston. I guess this mean there is compression, but I feel like when it wont start normally it just turns and turns not being hesitant like this. I did check the valves before installing this engine and it seemed that the intake vales were a little on the tight side. Could them being less than the minimum .03 mm  gap make this happen? Also once it started up, I was able to leave it on the choke for a while before it basically went down to a normal idle (I still had the choke on full) and I would rev the engine back up and it would go right back to idle. Then as i kept it revved up it started sputtering a little and then just got lower and lower on the rpms (still steady throttle) and soon after coming to a halt and would not start again just like before, I could hear that it was trying to turn over, but that it seemed like it was trying to push out excess air and that it could not. I talked to the stealership and was suggested to try new spark plugs that they may have fouled. Any other ideas? I am not supposed to do an oil change at this apartment complex or I would go ahead and try that now. Also if there was gas in the oil, would that cause these symptoms? I mean I would think gas would make the oil thinner and maybe cause issues as its running not stop it from starting and make it run horribly until it wont start again.

Pull the dip stick out and smell it- if it even resembles the smell of gasoline it needs an oil change. Do it at night, or at a friends place, wherever. Fouled plugs is a possibility......what do they look like?

Also, have you had your battery on a charger at all?

I'm with the others. Call the mechanic and give them hell. Otherwise call your insurance company and explain what happened. If it's a certified place you might call Suzuki. Also try to speak to the owner of the shop!
