Chain and Sprockets on '07?

Okay guys I know this has been asked but I just need a straight answer. I've got an '07 GS500F. I don't know what it has on it right now but the chain is screwed and the sprockets are curled. I want to put stock gearing on it (it may still have it, dunno). Am I right that the stock gearing is a 16 up front? I don't know what the rear is supposed to be stock.

Also, what size chain is it? I've read 530 and 520...and what is it...120 links? Or 110? *confused face*

Thanks!

Here's a really retarded question...

How do I know if a chain comes with a masterlink or not? I was looking at some Western Power Sports chains. Specs look good and they're not ungodly expensive. I just don't know if they come with master links. Anybody know of a brand/line that definitely comes with a masterlink of the "clip-type"?

Most major brands include a rivet type master link. Some chains give you the option of a clip link, some are rivet only. When in doubt, call/email the seller.

Most chains are coming with the rivet type master links only now, the liability issue.  I got replacement DID chains with a clip type master link from Chaparrel for years for about $55 but when their stock ran out they were over $80 and came with a rivet type only.  Got a Parts Unlimited chain from Dennis Kirk last time for less than $60 and it came with a clip type and with only about 5k miles on it so far it looks to be as good as any of the DID or RK major brand chains I've used over the years.  Dennis Kirk clearly states type of master links and have extra ones available for most.  They're about $63 now.

My brake_chain use log, got about 90.4k miles on my 02 GS now:

407,400 miles in 30 years for 13,580 miles/year average.  Started riding 7/21/84 and hung up helmet 8/31/14.

Okay. Well I ended up with a "Bikemaster" chain. O-ring. Was pretty decently priced and a lot of good things were said about them. :) Hopefully it'll come with a clip type! Damn rivets are annoying as mess.
