Looking for both sides of the carbs.  Definitely in need of the manifold side, but I'd really like to get a full set.  Anyone happen to have some extra laying around?  (I know adidasguy does, he just hasn't had a chance to price them yet)  Thanks!  :thumb:

I don't know what they are worth. Hardly ever see them for sale.
I can spare 2, so shoot me an offer. Need to keep 2 for the engine.
Got to check the air box supply. Probably can help you out in that area. I know those are cheap 'cause you can find a whole airbox for $25 or so with an air filter.

($22 for boot, then O-ring $3 and clamp $4 extra)
Say $25 shipped for a pair?
I haven't checked on the screws - its freaking freezing here! I can't ride it is frozen - roads have ice with snow on top. All I can do is hang out on GStwins and watch Family guy. Gee, I thread jacked my own posting!  :dunno_black:
Anyway, they have the clamps and O rings.
I'll check for airbox stuff tomight if I feel like freezing or just need to hug Trey, Junior or Suzi (or tomorrow).

Sounds great.  Let me know about the others, and I'll get you the money.  Paypal?

Paypal is fine.
I remember I have the air box that was on Trey. The boots were installed wrong so they look a little wrinkled. They really will fit fine as I did get them on correctly. Just cold here when I was working on Trey (high 40's) so the rubber was not soft. I got another airbox with perfect boots. It will fit fine and I checked with WD40 - no leaks. I put on a better one just because a friend gave me one. I'll send it to you with the clamps for $10 more. You're in a warmer place so if warm, the rubber will be softer and easier to slip on. (Airbox was not Trey's problem - flaky spark plug!)

Sounds good.  Shoot me a PM with your paypal info.

Since you're the master of all parts, maybe you can help me.  I've been looking at airbox pictures online, and I'm trying to figure out if on the airbox, where the boots attach, it is supposed to be at a 90 degree angle?  I would think so, but mine bows in in the center, which certainly doesn't help with fitting the (already rough) boots onto the carbs.

basically - yes, a box. Not warped. Of course, these air boxes don't really fit in a GS500 and is easy to pinch the fuel lines as they route from the tank to the rooster you keep in that cage (i.e. pet chicken).

UPDATE:
Looked at 3 air boxes. Actually it is a little concave so the boots are not in an exact straight line. Weird!
Grabbed the air box for you. The boots do look good. Clamps are also OK. I'm not going to risk damaging them by removing them so you get the box, too.

Interesting!  I was wondering if it was just mine.
