There was some discussion whether the method Kerry uses in his valve check video gives a different reading from the Suzuki service manual method which orients the cam lobes differently.  The general consensus seems to be that there is a difference but not much.  I edited toghether the relevant footage from the top end rebuild video to show how to check the valves using the timing marks for those who want to use the service manual method:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4vRm9xADa8

Thanks.  I still haven't checked myself but ohgood said there is no difference betwen the 2 methods if you have a camshaft that is wearing evenly.  If there is interest I can do another vid with it in the bike but Kerry's is still a good reference   :thumb:
