I am doing a lost title and cant seem to reamber if the identification number will be the number on the frame and the number on the motor or just the frame. If some one could check there title i sure would be greatful. You know how the dmv is. THANKS

VIN is on the frame, the DMV should not need the motor/trans serial number......

Just the frame. Depending on your state, they may have a bunch of hoops to jump through.

My 97/98 had an extra "1" in the title versus the one on the frame/VIN plate. Luckily I had both an affidavit of correction signed by the original owner, the original title, and a copy of the original MSO. All notarized and all, so they didn't even have to see the bike. Normally, they have to look at the bike.
