I've got a clean running 1991 GS500. Currently has clubman bars, I can include original bars too. For $50 I'll reinstall them if you would like! This bike is ready to go! Take her home today.

I have a few upgrades:
-Clubman bars (mentioned)
-Progressive Springs (front tubes. Handling and suspension improved beyond compare from stock springs)
-Fork Seals replaced ~end of August
-15w fork oil
-2007 GS500 tank. (Slightly different tank, but it bolts right on. As a result, the paint doesn't match. The tank has original Suzuki paint in great condition.)
-Emgo bar end mirrors
-New Clutch! Installed at the end of last riding season (~August)
-rear brake pads installed ~end of August.
-new chain ~end of August
-new fuel lines~ end of August

This is a great starter bike that you wont outgrow in a month. Not the prettiest, but for a 20+ year old bike, it's not too bad.

Test rides for those with endorsements or learner's permits, and cash in hand. Has current tabs. I'll deliver within a reasonable distance or RIDE IT HOME!

I'll include the original tank, too. I also have an extra petcock. The original tank will need to be coated on the inside. Original tank matches the paint scheme, and looks amazing. It is pictured in 1/3 photos. Includes Haynes and Clymer's manuals.

Clean title in hand.

Price is pretty firm, will accept close offers though. I'm selling at this price because A) it's fair B) I've found a bike for the exact price that I really want.

I'll be willing to bet Adidasguy buys this from you.

I'm taking wagers. Anyone?  :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Nice color...too bad the tank doesn't match, though it doesn't look that bad with the blue tank. Personally, I think it would better if you removed the pinstripe from the tank (it's just a sticker IIRC).

Good luck.  :thumb:

K: You lose! Where's my beers?
I'm not buying. I have enough right now and still plenty of parts to deal with.
I did turn him onto someone that might buy it.

Rhoekahr

Funny enough, I knew him from a previous GS500 endeavor, and messaged him first.

I kinda like the pinstripe because of its Katana shape. Sitting next to my bike in the garage is a first generation big Katana. I had planned on repainting and actually carrying that Katana shape back towards the tail.

It's not legal to ship beer through the mail, Adidas. Sorry.

BUT! Why don't you buy it!!! It's GREEN! Almost as rare as ORANGE! Don't you want a GREEN GS500??? It also has a black motor...ooooh sexy!  :icon_eek:

I'm just messing with you Adidas. You know we all love you and your parts hoarding. Where would we be without you? :)

Like the OLD style Katana? Not the 90's version?  :icon_eek:

This?

Hmm let me try again. The photo showed up in the preview.

Kijona

Oh. Well...

I enjoy the 90's version. :)

I don't necessarily care for the BWM-esque headlight/fairing amalgamation. Just me though!

Rhoekahr

Yeah, very BMW esque, but for good reason. Bimmer's designer, Hans Muth, designed the first Kat, so there's a good reason the style carries similarity. Suzuki did it infinitely better though, in my opinion.

:) Well, it's all about taste! Personally, I like late 80's and early 90's sportbike looks. The 1986 VFR750 is my all-time favorite:

Rhoekahr

Yeah, those are cool too. We've got a 500 interceptor in the garage too! It's for sale as well.    :thumb:

You can get away with UPS if you're careful or a bottle of a good chardonnay.

It is Seattle - leave anything outside long enough and it will be covered in green slimy mold

By the side of the road with parts missing off of your bike?

must....resist....temptation.....for.....interceptor.....

Rhoekahr

Haha think about the interceptor. It's my dad's, but I know he wants to sell her...

I'll get you his number if you want.

Rhoekahr

$800 OBO. Bike hasn't been started in a few months, and there was a fuel delivery issue or something going on. I have ridden it, as has he. Let me know if you want pics and a number.
