I'm not sure it's worth $2200 but maybe it is?  :dunno_black:

Still interesting to look at nonetheless.

I just read the "60hp" bit. Uhhh... :bs:

Tombstones81

no way in hell is it worth that.

doesnt matter what u do to a bike (to some extent) or freshly paint it (for the most part)
its still worth around book value.
he might be able to get a "little" more but no way in hell double.

cleaning, fresh paint, an exhaust and helmet cant take the value up by much at all.

these are not harley's after all. haha

and it might be the pics but that paint looks Very dull.
nice color scheme tho.

but its his bike, they can ask what they want for it.
doesnt mean they will get it tho.

and I've done the same thing to my bike, all with my own 2 hands.
and even im not crazy enough to ask that much if I wanted to sell it.
and mines newer! haha

Wow! Must cost extra because he lubed things and sync'd the carbs.
Matching helmet? Well, USED helmet and probably not my size. Horray for head lice!
Zinc oxide primer color is one of my favorite colors! Reminds me of junior high shop class.  :flipoff:

Though he did do a nice job. Just not worth $2200. Maybe $1500 - tops.

codajastal

That is one farking ugly colour scheme and I will give him 1000aud for his trouble but he must pay for shipping :dunno_white:
I am not interested in anything you have to say
Don't bother talking to me, I will not answer you

Yea, that is not a good looking bike.
I like his 30 warranty though. LOL. I'm sure that will hold up.

But seriously....th paint job is awful. Just.....just bad.

Kijona

Lol. In many cases, a completely stock bike will bring more money than a modified one. Certain mods to certain bikes will increase its value but not usually.

I personally don't mind flat colors, but I think he should have gone with black instead of that grey/green-ish color.

Flux Maven

Ewww, the miss matched gray and orange wheels, orange rotor... It just looks tacky IMO. Also yea, its "closer to 60HP," just not quite there.  :flipoff: Also $2200, good luck with that.

I'm a fan of flat colors as well. But thats just bad paint quality.
I always thought itd be cool to have an all polished bike. That would be a good canidate.

You polish a GS500 and guess what, the very next day it would look just like that pic.
The day after, it will be more deep red, and so on iteratively till there is nothing left ... it is steel, and cheap sheite steel at that and rusts if you look @ it sideways.
Cool.

Sure, but on that first day, it would be GLORIOUS!

I'd pay $2,200 to find out how he coaxed 10 HP out of 3HP worth of mods.

Trick of the salesman trade my friend. Look at the wording he used:
"after rebuild it is closer to 60HP" meaning that after the upgrades and rejetting, that 3HP gain is CLOSER to 60. Tricky devil... :icon_lol:

All you have to get is matching pants and jacket and you can be the orange power ranger.

Is it just me or is the trip meter missing???

Looks like it was painted by a 10 year old with some primer, and an obsession to make the tires not match.

Its been dropped, look at the can.

The engine don't look like it was detailed recently

no odometer?

If it was nicely done, low mileage, and a newer model, 2200 wouldn't be a bad price, if only a little high.

As it is, I wouldn't even look at it without looking up its vin with the sheriffs dept. Looks like it could be hot, and they painted it in hops some sucker buys it sight unseen.

Who the hell is gonna steal a GS500?  :icon_mrgreen:

Wow, you guys are a lot more scrupulous than I was. I looked at it for a total of 10 seconds and then posted it here because I thought it was interesting.

Now that I look at it more closely...yeah, what a piece of anus protuberance. They didn't even bother to fix the damn tachometer?

Love that icon Adidas...gonna have to save that one for later. :P

Adidasguy, if his supply of hoarded parts ever dries up, he'll have to resort to less than legal ways to obtain his goodies!

If he needs a hand, I'll help. But I'll only target those who don't wear gear, they'll eventually destroy the bike anyway.
