Haha, Only reason why i'm getting one so soon is i had some dosh left over from buying the bike! Being a slip on im not expect any performance boost's just wanting to know if they sound any good.
Though the do look like the Screamin Demon MTGP450...

I was considering the Mussari also before I bought the Screaming Demon SDR. You may have to be our guinea pig and try one out for us all. They seem like a good price, over $100 cheaper than the Screaming Demon.

Now that looks good too Twisted :thumb:

Ah! That does look good. I think ill just wait and get a full system. If i do just get a slip on, will i need to rejet the carbs?

I didn't rejet with my slip on. The airbox is stock and after all the nightmare stories I read in here weekly of someone trying to rejet there bike and having issue after issue I really don't want to touch the carb. My bike runs fine and the plugs look good so I never felt the need to. You will just have to see how your bike runs after you put the exhaust on. If you are going for a full system then it is highly likely you will have to rejet and in saying that if you are going to rejet you may as well go the whole way and put a lunchbox filter in to make use of the full system.

Too far for me to go and mine work just fine as they are.

Mine did too as far as I could tell. But he was selling it as a package including install. How could I pass it up

I soooo wish your clutch wasn't slipping so you could have felt the before/after difference Trav...
My bike is a gutless piece of shaZam! without those parts - throttle response, mid range and top end are all choked.

As I told you, it took me a few goes to get the sizes right and it always ran fine for me - and having not heard from you, I'm assuming its running fine for you too  :thumb:
Considering the time it took me to swap your jets (and you know... you watched me do it!) I reckon its the best thing you could do for the GS500!
