Just found this site yesterday, as well as I bought my first bike, a 01 GS500E.  I am looking for some cool mods, need some gear ,and esp on the look out for a fairing kit, feel free to email me anytime. thanks for having me.  see you all around here.

You will find all kinds of mods and the fairing here. Mostly by doing a search ([Search] above). Pantablo's website has the most extensive list of mods. And Rich500 has a connection to a fairing maker. Have fun!

Based on my limited experience here, the most recommended mod is carb rejet.  There is a rejetting matrix somewhere that will give you a good idea of baseline on jets to go with depending on your setup.  You can tweak it to your needs.

ASLAM.

by far the most important performance enhancing mod is to cut off the rear fender.  Adds at least 10hp to the bike

I will try to check out that guys page.  It may be a good time to install a jet kit, bc im sure they need to be tuned .  

Man shaZam!, that fender is gone once i get it home!  I'll prbably even notice the difference towing it behind my car.  My bike and car 10+hp. for removing a fender hehe. I saw something about that, but I can't even remember what it looks like with it on and removed. I saw some pics of someones, but nothing to serious.
