Okay peeps. Here's the deal... fellow rider (from youtube) from the UK is in town (Nerang) until the 12 of March. He'd like to meet and go for a ride. He'll hire a bike for two days so I figure that means two rides - one Saturday and one Sunday. I'm still working on a Google maps route to post up but for now the rides will be...

Ride 1: Leaving BP Yatala we ride to Rathdowney for a rest stop. Then down to Kyogle for fuel. We continue south to Casino then head towards Tenterfield. We don't ride all the way in to Tenterfield though, we head back up to Urbenville for lunch then back down the Mt Lindesay twists. Basically this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spFYOf7SN5c

Ride 2: Leaving BP Yatala we do Tambo, the goat track, Clagriba, Numinbah down to Tyalgum for a manly pink lemonade. Then Murwillimbah, over the race track a couple of times, then along Tomewin road. These http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xQR8pJfsVQ and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtkGKyiXvbg and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w669gkPwXZ8

Let me know if you're in or have another route in mind. Sure we could do The Channon or Springbrook or Yangan or any number of routes, but I feel these two routes give a good feel for what we have while also being good for someone not too familiar with the roads.

At this stage I would be good for Sunday ride whichever way you go. Unfortunately I am booked by the wife for Saturday :icon_sad:
I am not interested in anything you have to say
Don't bother talking to me, I will not answer you

slipperymongoose

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

I may have to switch days. Looks like I may be working Saturday so Sunday looks like the ride day. Hope the weather holds off. Looks like rain is predicted.

mister

They predict rain daily and maybe it happens 2 times out of 10. They can change a forecast from Rain then 12 hours later after the newspapers have printed the Rain forecast, the 5am forecast will say something different.

It's then funny watching guys at work quoting the newspaper at you. Nah, the Current forecast on BOM say different. Yeh but the paper says...  :icon_rolleyes:

Turn up whatever day you can, I'll be riding both days.
