Well I discovered today that my hands dont like thick foam grips so I had to go back to normal ones. I got pains in the palm of my hands from a short distance

Guess what I just put on my bike today! :flipoff:

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

A Betty Boop seat cover and a playboy bunny sticker?

I replaced the brake fluid with some Valvoline 3&4 Synthetic Fluid. The old fluid was tired and dirty.

I looked at it and wondered if we should hit some asphalt, but naw, crazy people are out and it all wet.  >:(

Changed the oil, bled the brakes, cleaned the carbs, put in 42.5 pilot jets, adjusted float height, replaced spark plugs, added a new chainguard from Adidasguy (after painting it black,) put it back together, synced carbs, and was pleasantly suprised when the bike actually started up.

Replaced spark plugs - properly gapped them this time too.
Took a nice motorway run to home and back and researching what jets to order..

May i ask why you put 42.5 pilot jets? I thought the 40 were ok to leave in?.. Any improvements with those ones?

My bike has been running lean on the low end, regardless of what I do to it with my current setup (150 mains, 40 pilots.)  My idle mix screws are out more than 4 turns, so I figured I'd go one size up and screw them back in to 2.5 turns.  From what I have observed so far the throttle is smoother (normally stumbles up to 2500 and then surges quickly,) and returns back to idle.  I will know a little more when I can actually take it out (it's a little cold in Pennsylvania this weekend.)

After I powerwashed the house siding and fixed my POS Mazda...

Installed PAIR block-off plates that I bought off Flea-bay.  They say "BUSA" on them, but they were cheap.  Then I put the fairings back on.  Will bolt the tank back on tomorrow.

It's supposed to be nice here tomorrow in SW Ohio.  May have to ride.  Yeah...time to ride.  Honey-doo list can wait.
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...

Rejetted the carbs to 20/65/145 and installed the K&N lunchbox (installed Jardine RT 1 full exhaust last weekend). Gave the chain a lube.

Well fitted up new fork brace today. It's a nice snug fit, I've got a thread in the for sale section, I'll make up to 10, get in quick.

I lubed the chain, plus checked the oil.
I just had it changed 1400 miles ago.
The good news is:  oil looks pretty clean.
Bad news:  it was below "low" marker! Yikes!
Added a quart. sigh.

Replaced fuel lines, added in-line fuel filter.  Cleaned rear caliper, installed new pads, removed rear wheel, replaced rear brake rotor.
