Aren't the 01-02 carbs the same as the 89-00 carbs?
They didn't go new carns until 2004 from everything I've seen.

your probably right. these carbs have different linkage (push pull) and 3 jet system

01 and 02 are unique, not same as 89-00 or 04+. They are 3 circuit but not really same as 04+.

Seems the 01-02 are partly newer. 3 jets is newer. However, appears the throttle position sensor was not added until 2004. Those carbs would be nice because they are 3 jet without all the extra emissions crap from 2004+ (FYI: Seems there was an '03 in the UK according to a service manual I have). They seem to be the same BSR34 use in later years. TPS is not mentioned in the book until 2004.

The 01-02 carbs are unique, as well as the overseas 03 model.  The 04 US model was the 1st year of the TPS.  OP, pm me a price for the carbs shipped to 20723 (Maryland), I'd love to have a spare setup because I have found it difficult to even find parts for the carbs on my 01.....
