I've been watching alot of MotoGP lately to stave off the winter blah...anyhow, I noticed that they ALWAYS put thier leg/foot out on turns...Struck me as odd but its obviously for a reason...is it a balance thing?

Not the first thread on the subject. Lots of people have opinions on the issue, no-one I've seen teaches it. I personally think Rossi does it to f%$k with people. I've seen one or two guys try it at trackdays - they are usually slow riders. Last guy who did it was riding a ZX6R in the A group. I eventually pass him on my GS.

my theory is its to cool down their balls. the extra wind resistance doesnt matter much when breaking for corners so its the appropriate time to do it.

Clearly no one has seen all the incidents his been involved in in fact great shot if him on his bike running over siminchelli's head! Stoner put it eloquently to him. Clearly his ambition is larger than his talent!

Think it would have been nearly Impossible to avoid hitting him. It was an accident that couldn't have been avoided

Well thats what stoner said to rossi after rossi crashed them both off in a race a couple years back. And last year? pffft where the hell was rossi? No where. There was I time i liked him too but stoner is my favourite. And the fact his Aussie!!!!!!
