From what I hear, the best shock to use is the Katana 600 up to 2006 (the closer to 2006 the better cause it's new).  I think 2007 was a hiatus, and there was a variant of the Katana in 2008 that may not work.  Try this site...it's where I got the info for my shock --> http://pantablo500.tripod.com/id12.html
