So I feel like every time I start a project, I end up needing the item I'm making, just to finish making it. I got home from work with a few hours of light left and I set out to install the bedlights in the bed of my truck. of course 8pm rolls around and I'm sitting in the bed of the truck with a flashlight trying to connect wires. You know what would've been real useful in that situation?? some bed lights....

It was the same thing when I was making the work benches in the basement. The entire time I was just sitting there thinking "this would be so much easier if I just had some f%$king work benches to work on.... haha

Even a few times before I had the truck you'd start working on the motorcycle, realize you needed something from the store, and of course you no longer have a running motorcycle to get to the store to get the part you need to finish working on the bike...

I have "Selective Blindness".  :cookoo:

Drop a screw or bolt right in front of me. Can't see it anywhere. Get another from the parts bins. Come back. its right there - in front of me.

OR I have a tool. Set it down. 5 seconds later I can't see it anywhere. Get another. Then find it right where I set it down.

"I know I have that part somewhere". Then I find it a few days later when I am NOT looking for it so I put it where I will remember to find it later - only to forget where I put it.
So lolo!

I remember watching a friends mom in high school searching for her glasses while wearing one pair on top of her head and holding a second pair in her hand.

Be aware, this is not very wise advise!

Yesterday was working on a physiological psychology project was on the short term memory aspect of it. Within that 10 minutes I misplaced my netbook, notes, cellphone, and I think my brain too. I just thought it so funny how terrible my short term memory was while working on a project to boost it LOL!
