I think we need to do a large meet-greet-and RIDE at Tail of the Dragon this spring.  Maybe late April / Early May (just throwing it out there).

definitely count me in, and if we do it on a weekend i would be down for a multiple day trek. would probably trailer the moto over to have more room for gear/supplies. late april/early may works well for me. might be able to round up another local or two.

Was there last year with a group of riders. Going again in mid July in case your time frame changes. There about 40 of us, a few more never hurts! We stay in Maggie Valley.

I used to try to organize rides down there...never could generate any real interest.  Last time we actually got a group together down there was 2006.
