Gate fee is $10.00
Practice is 8:30-10:00 am
Races start at $10:30am
4 races before lunch with the rest after lunch break. (13 total)
I'll be in race #7 (500 twins). Maybe #5 (450 superbike) :dunno:
Cruise the pits and look for my black box trailer with a white canopy alongside. Bike #23 (GSZILLA and my 89 GS)
You can park in my pit and hang out there. Weather will be fair.
I'd really like to see all you bay area guys and gals show up

Someone take vids for all the East coast people!  It would be good to see the GS in action, fighting valiantly :)

I think scratch and I are going to try and make it.  I think the plan is a car pool but my truck only has 2 seats so it wouldn't be much of a car pool.  SJ is a ways of straight freeway to be riding though.  I'm not sure that I want to take the bike.  Going home to Walnut Creek (about an hour), my legs are cramped after 45 minutes.

I have a friend that may also go... have to check it out though.

:::EDIT:::

Ok, checked it out and as far as I know I'm not tied up...I'm all for the ride out.

I know we've got more locals around here.  Anyone else?

I am going for sure.  I haven't heard a confirmation back from scratch yet but hopefully he'll join my friend (not a rider) and I on the way up.

Will you be at any of the AFM races at Buttonwillow this season?  I'd love to come up check out Sears Point but it's a little far for one day of racing.
Buttonwillow would be doable.

The weather looks fair for Sunday. Mid 60s
We may have showers on Sat. but that will only screw with practice.
Looking forward to seeing everyone :)  :)

Where was everyone??

scratch, my buddy Jordan and I wandered around in the rain for like 3 hours looking for people.

I am a bit disappointed.  We basically drove an hour, paid parking, ate lunch, walked around some more, and finally gave up on finding anyone.  The only racing to be seen was the MotoGP on the tv in the cafe :(

[lame music]blame it on the raaaiiinnn, yeah, yeah[/lame music]

Manjul and Laine came riding to my pit spot around 1:30 (I think?).
What a BUMMER.    :x    I didn't think anyone else came up there. Can't believe you couldn't find me.
DON"T THROW AWAY THE TICKET YOU GOT AT THE GATE!!
It will be honored at next months race. 5/30 at Infinieon.
If not I will pay for your entry. :)

We managed to get practice in this morning even though it was sprinkling.
Then after the riders meeting it started raining and never completely stopped. That's the first time in 6 years I'm aware of.
Man I was ready to kick some ass  :guns:

I'll post before the next race. I'm sure it will be better in May.

TheGoodGuy

damn we missed you guys..

We were there around 11:30 or 12 at bobs (we left around 1:30 or later).. Lane and I went riding around teh complex and finally found a BLACK trailer with a #23 Bike..  If you guys looked for that then you would have found it.

I hope you still have your tix's.. its valid for next time.. or as Bob put it .. he willl pay for it..

Bob's an awesome guy :) Good hanging out with him.

Lane.. sorry I had to deesh .. I didnt want to get wet  i saw a storm cloud ahead.. needless to say I did get drenched around dixon/davis and dried out at sacramento..

I am going to post a few pics.. and a video of the GSZILLA with its monster exhaust...

...

We were looking for that.  I was even keeping an eye for the Tundra but no luck.  Where were you guys?  Near the bridge or closer to the cafe?  I did see that Mr RPM mobile welder guy.  He was damn annoying with his stupid blow horn.  He is a nice guy though... I've met him at one of the barf sbux meetings.  He does excellent work.

and I know Bob is an awesome guy :)

I have my ticket still.  I might be able to make it next month but my bday is the 27th so we'll see  :dunno:
