Hey everybody,
I'm looking to get a GS500e. Nothing too special. The more stock the better. But I don't mind a few mods. Mileage should be under 30k. Preferably running. If it isn't I'll take a look at it, see how much it's going to need and we'll talk.
I am currently going to school down south in Carbondale, IL but I originate from the Chicagoland area. So, I can pretty much get to you as long as your close to the state of Illinois.  :icon_razz: If anybody finds anything or knows someone with a bike for sale. Let me know!
I'm looking to pay around $1300.

Will be browsing CL ads for you man.  Join the up and coming Illinois GS fraternity!

Ridetilempty93

GS Fraternity?! Where at?! Tell me more! :woohoo:

haha.  I'm just playing around.  There isn't one really, I've just noticed several new Illinois riders on the forum lately.  Ninjeff and I are in Bloomington/Normal.

Bloomington eh? Nice. I'll definitely have to look for a GS next time I'm visiting ISU.

OT but another IL person here, Edwardsville area. Not enough spare cash for a bike just yet but once I have enough I'll be getting a gs  :thumb:

ninjeff

In all seriousness, we should all meet up for a ride sometime this summer.

Yknow. Providing our bikes work. lol

ninjeff

OH! Also, to the OP, check out Indiana CL ads too.

I was fighting for MONTHS to find a reasonable deal in IL, and within the first 3 days of checking Indiana ads, i had 4 options to choose from. Don't know what it is, but Indiana seems to have lots of GS's

Ridetilempty93

Thanks for the heads up ninjeff!

And totally agree on the meet this summer, depending on my work schedule and what we had in mind. I usually work quite a bit over the summer. Gotta make beer money for the year  :icon_lol:

This is awesome. I live in Macomb IL. We should have our own IL GS Group lol

Q:Why did they decide to call it the "Harley Owners Group?"
A:Because the term "Special Ed" was already taken.

Illinois riding club!  :woohoo:

Like ninjeff said though, provided our bikes are running (and assuming I have one at some point)

I'm in for a meet up.  Especially since Bloomington seems as central a place as any for IL riders :).

Ridetilempty93

Haha yah we'd probably meet up around you bombsquad. Even though you're in the flattest part of Illinois. :icon_rolleyes:
