Dropped off my 919 for a major service. Discovered an oil seep left engine cover - new gasket ordered.

Bought new bulbs for speedo and tacho - speedo bulb went and new bulb was 2w instead of 1.7, so got two and replaced them both. Standard bulbs for the moment.

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Is "smick" some Ausie term?  :cookoo:
Do you ride that one with the fuzzy seat naked?  :flipoff:

ME:
Rode Thumper this afternoon around the beach (took portrait of him) and to gym. Will need to check and lube throttle & stuff. When warm, seems to like  to hand at high idle. Probably sticky throttle. He's only been ridden 200 miles in the past 19 years. He's resting in the Bike Cave at the moment.

Rode it 50 miles into work this morning! 75mph and 55 F degrees and my hands were freezing with my summer gloves on. Hopefully with the sun up this afternoon it won't be as bad.

Rode into work at 2pm central time, was nice about 57* out. Almost ran out of gas, (with the newer tank on 2008) switched it to reserve and drove to the gas station filled it up again 3.9 gal. what is the capacity of the newer tanks?

Ripped off plastics, again. I seriously hate the look, can't live with it, even for the wind protection. just feels and handles so much nicer...

And changed the fork oil + readjusted it to 105mm w/ my .85 sonic springs I put in months ago.... SO MUCH NICER!

Oh, and lowered the front about an inch. With the rear raised an inch, it handles AWESOME!

Just slightly unstable, so time for a steering damper retrofit. :thumb:

Took her for a short pre-rain ride to test out the new color.   :icon_mrgreen:
