Still unsatisfied with the look of my slip-on.

Its a little scratched up but just looks Off in comparison to the rest of the bike.
The front tip will look better when I repaint it black again and this time put a high temp clear on it as well.
but the rest just looks ...... off.

Dont have a very close up pic of it atm and im about to go riding so this one below will have to due for now.

im up for any suggestions.
keep sanding it and TRY to shine it up even more?
or just paint the dang thing all black with new red F1s stickers?

Oh yea that's a cobra F1, sadly, that is a good look for that thing.

Paint it black, but don't put the F1 stickers back on it.  That way, it's less likely that people will know you have a Cobra F1 on your bike.  The less people who know, the better. 

Fake it and rivet a Yosh or V&H badge on there or something. 

I can usually find at least something positive to say about a product and seldom give a crap about the "status symbol" of anything, but F1s are crap and they just SCREAM "cheap bastage" or "didn't know any better" to other bike guys.   Now, there's nothing necessarily wrong with being either of those, but there's no need to advertise it.

well, I would disagree on cheaply made, that suckers taken a beating from me and isnt as badly dinged up as it should be.

it serves its purpose so im fine with it for now.

i'll do one nice coat on it and see how it looks.
if it looks like crap, can always dump some gas on it and wipe it clean again. hahaha
