I know pics or GTFO so here you go.

When I first got it.

Random pic I took at work.

Pic my friend took with his new camera.

Here I am replacing my leaking gasket. Also I didn't have an oil catch pan short enough to fit under the bike so I made some with old jugs lol.

Had a great weekend with my best friend. I got my new rear tire put on then we cleaned and lubed our chains and put a few miles on our bikes enjoying the nice weather.

When I had the tire put on they informed me that my break pads were about shot so I ordered some new EBC pads and when they get here I might have a few more pics of me frustrated trying to put them on. Also going to take it to a muffler shop and have a proper mid pipe made sometime this week.

Digging the yellow. All you need is the belly pan and you got the whole set.  :thumb:

Is there any other way? :D

I like the color. Somewhere I think I have a set of tails like that.
I see your front fender is cut off in the back. You could use a new front fender with the mud flap. That really helps keep you and the engine clean.
Add the belly pan for the complete look.

Stainless steel chain guard for the finishing touch!

Very NICE with that yellow.  I really like the first pic.

Phew...those tires have seen better days. Is the rear a larger-than-stock size? It looks really tall...

Other than that, awesome looking bike! LOVE yellow bikes!

what helmet is that?

That is my Nitro 3/4 helmet. It's in the lets see your helmets thread and I probably have more info on it if you are interested. I can't remember the model off the top of my head.

As far as I know that was the stock size, it was what came on the bike. I replaced it with a stock size Kenda, and I love it. Yea the bald tire was pretty sketchy especially since I live on a gravel road (thats why the bike is so dirty in the pics). I have just been working on the bike and buying parts as I get payed. It's a slow process since I only get paid once a month and I am a full time student so I don't have a lot of free time to wrench on the bike. I have the new rear pads on and the fronts waiting to go on. Since I have to pull the front tire for the pad swap I am waiting to buy a new matching front tire so I can drop it off to be put on while I change the pads. Till then I just ride carefully when I can.  :thumb:

also @ adidasguy, The front fender isn't cut its melted! it's all warped and weird. The previous owner said he rebuilt the bike and bored out the motor. I think the reason for the rebuild must have been because he ran the bike too hot or something. The kid was only a year older than me and looking to go to a gixxer 1000 so he could kill himself weave through traffic faster.  :dunno_white: :cookoo:
I would like to replace it eventually and get a stainless chain guard, but aesthetics are low on the list of things to do.

It's been a while since I have been on the forum but here are some pics of my bikes from right before I went off to college. I ride 55 miles one way to go to work now and I only get to work fridays, but it's an experience :D Also on my way back to school tonight I just rolled 27,000 miles.

Very Nice.  You know..... I never realized how close the Pennzoil Jug color was to the GS color.

With some careful trimming and 10-15 jugs, I bet you could "carve out" some killer fairings made out of Pennzoil jugs  O0

Pennzoil GS500 F conversion On the Horizon ! :D

Ride with the people you love in mind.

I'll never forget ya Patrick!

Don't want the GS getting all the love. I am selling my first bike to my cousin for $20 with the condition that after he restores it I will buy it back cheap when he is done with it. And if not, I only paid $200 for it nearly a decade ago. It's been a fun bike as well.
