ive changed spark plugs,cleaned air filter.still sputters.need help. :dunno_black:

Under load?  Under WOT?  How about when the bike is not yet fully warm?  What about with the choke on slightly?  Do you have a pipe?  Are you using the stock airbox?  Have you changed the jetting?  Need more details.

it sputters only in gear.running stock everything. it doesnt do it in neutral.is it a carb issue? or maybe bad coils? :dunno_black:

Is it running on both cylinders? My bike would run to 6K but not over it on one cylinder. Is it "slow" as hell? Carb rebuild, would be my next step.

yeah,i know.....doing that this weekend. i hate having to deal with the gas lines to the tank tho :mad:

I would definitely point to the carbs. I think you will find crud in your main circuit. Could be sticking slide, or leaking CV boot too. Anyway the point is it's time for a cleaning.

Try pulling the plug wires while it's running one at a time if you pull one and leave the other on and it dies you're only running on one cyl.

+1. This will also tell you which carb to concentrate on... b/c yours are dirty.

cleaned my carbs this evening....not that dirty.cv boots are good.was surprised too see the float setup......any how i was a dumbass and didnt turn my gas on before i put the bike back together....so i will get my test ride in the am...... >:(
