As the title suggests, I just bought myself a shiny, pristine used GS500F 2009 model. 3500km. Blue/White. Looks amazing.

Just joined the forums to say hey to all the other GS500/F riders in Brisbane!

I am also looking for a ventura (or some other kind of) rack if anyone's selling locally I'm a student, and work full-time so I really need to sort some kind of luggage out for my bike so I don't have to carry all my gear all day!

Anyway, shoot us a message and say hey! Looking for some riding buddies in Brisbane for the mid year uni break (end June to end July) when I've got some time to kill! ...and when I'm more confident on my new bike after upgrading from a GPX250. Meeting some female riders would be nice too since I don't see too many on the roads! I'm 20 by the way.

Ahhhh another Aussie welcome, I'm in Brissy too, other GS members who drop by here to are mister, twisted, and codajastal. There are a couple others round seq who drop in from time to time as well. Do please throw a pic of your ride up and look foward to seeing you on a ride one day.

As Slippery mentioned, there are a few of us here. And we do ride quite often - just about every weekend, though not all of us ride each weekend and we don't put all rides up on the board here.

Next ride will be to Yangan for lunch. A lovely little pub near Warwick. The route is quite pleasant and will post this ride up once a day is decided.

Oh cool I might come for a ride sometime when I'm a little less occupied...I work and study full-time at the moment so that doesn't leave a lot of ride time I LOVE that I can park in the city for free though so I do get to ride most days!

Now to work out how to attach a picture...haha

You can use Facebook, right click on the pic, select properties, then select and copy the entire URL address and in here click the picture button under the bold button, paste the link between the URL boxes. You can use imgur, and photobucket too, or if you got tapatalk on your phone that works great too.

...if that worked, that's my baby, and another one with me on top pretty terrible picture of me but it was a hot day posing in the leather jacket so I didn't bother taking a better picture!

Someone should tell me if that worked...I get the feeling it won't have because my Facebook pictures are set to private...

See the mini pic of Mona Lisa below the bold button? That's how you make it work, we can't see em. Talk to cods aka codajastal he had one, or any other member with one everyone in this place is very friendly and helps out any way they can.

When you click the Mini Mona Lisa button ir brings up an IMG tag.

You'll also need a picture. So I found this http://www.sydneycaferacers.com/storage/FKC01.jpg and went to imgur.com click the WEB as the source, pasted in the link and created this link http://i.imgur.com/ZUZPF.jpg

Clicking the sqaure Mona Lisa think below the B button I get this

I then insert (paste) my imgur link between the tags and get this

So even though your images are Private, with You logged into facebook and able to see them, try copying your image's URL and pasting it in to iimgur and see how that goes.

To have an image appear in your Sig line you use the same IMG code as shown, just paste it into your sig part found under your Profile - at the top above the forum you'll see Home Help Search Profile. Hover over Profile and then select Forum Profile

Nope those are not the links to the photos?
You need to open the photo in facebook and right click and copy url and then paste it to this page.
