The bike is SOLD - thanks!

We bought this for Skowinski-wifes first street bike, a bit less than 2 years ago. She has since moved up to a bigger bike, so this one needs to go somewhere it will be used.  I'll add some photos in a bit here.

Located in Las Vegas, NV.  $2,000 OBO. Clean title. Can help with delivery within ~200 mile radius of here, i.e. if you're in southern California or in Arizona I'll meet you halfway.

It had ~15,900 miles when purchased, and sits at a bit less than 19,000 now. When we bought it the bike was taken apart, cleaned, and everything checked. Mechanically it is in excellent condition, no problems, and ready to ride as is. It has fallen over at zero mph twice, so a few scratches on the bottom of the engine side covers and front bottom of muffler shield, but not really noticeable much at all.  Includes a Suzuki service manual and complete notes on work done since we got it.

Here is a list of what has been done.

- Exhaust system bead blasted and repainted, any scratches on frame and bodywork touched up
- Oil and filter changed twice, last time was ~1,000 miles ago
- Valves checked just after we bought it, next check due in another 3,000 miles
- New battery just a few weeks ago
- Lean factory jetting fixed, needles shimmed up, main and pilot jets up one size, fuel screw out a bit
- Michelin Pilot Activ tires just after we bought it, they show very little wear at all so far
- Fork seals and oil replaced, and one worn bushing, about 1,400 miles ago
- New vacuum fuel petcock about a year ago
- Uni reusable foam air filter
- Pro-grip "superbike" hand grips
- Brake fluid front and rear flushed/replaced when we bought it, and again about a year ago
- New EBC front brake pads, replaced ~2,000 miles ago, rear pads look like they have 2-3000 miles left
- Chain and sprockets were good when we bought it, appear to still have plenty of life in them
- New fuel lines, not installed yet, but needed as stock ones are showing some deterioration
- Small windscreen, forget brand at the moment

On a trip to Palm Springs and back the bike got about 70 mpg at 55-60 mph (this is after the rejetting).

Sure, I'll deliver it, if you'll have two BMW 650 Dakars set up for me and the wife to spend a month touring Australia on.  Promise we will return them in good shape!   :D

Been almost a week, so giving it a bump.  And, a reminder, the price is OBO!   :icon_mrgreen:

If only you were closer to Michigan, I could help you unload it.
It seems it has become necessary to qualify my posts:
I am/am not trying to start an argument. This post is/is not intended to be a personal attack. I am/am not merely attempting to present a different viewpoint.

Select the words that apply to you.

Understand.  Seems typical that a bike I'm interested in is just too far away.

But.... fly here and ride it home, make it an adventure!  :whisper:

Hrmmm...

As a Mojave desert resident, I may be interested. And unlike most Craigslist and Cycle Trader ads, you type in whole sentences. Hahaha. I may take you up on this, gimme a bit to consider.

I have a question for you. Did the bike come with that wind screen and if it didn't where by chance did you pick it up? I have the exact same bike minus the windscreen. Been debating on adding it. Gets windy over here by the water...

Ccrutchy, sent you a PM and text message.  Foxtrot, I'll keep you in mind if it doesn't work out.

Sxxdnne - that windscreen is a National F-16 as I recall.

Thanks guys.
